Summary

Mission

ACES Worldwide endeavors to strengthen and promote international space cooperation and establish new alliances between diverse educational, technological, civil and entrepreneurial organizations. ACES Worldwide’s mission is to help advance and support equitable space policies, laws and regulations on a global basis by which all nations and private and public entities can engage in optimizing humanity’s potential for space exploration and utilization–both on and beyond the Earth.

ACES Worldwide’s aspiration is to help harmonize commercial space endeavors, national space agency goals, and the interests of both non-profit and humanitarian organizations seeking to engage with space exploration, utilization, and development. This alliance primarily addresses issues related to space safety, improved sustainability, space traffic management, cosmic hazards and planetary defense, space education and training, and capacity-building in space systems.

Enhancing Spacefaring Capabilities & Policies

ACES Worldwide’s initiatives will be particularly important to support countries developing new space programs and space initiatives, as well as to enhance collaboration among those countries already engaged in spacefaring ventures.

ACES Worldwide will strengthen collaborative exchanges among nations and space-related organizations interested in the peaceful, sustainable and equitable development of space enterprise. We are seeking innovative approaches to enhance global collaboration as well as to inspire new regulatory frameworks and best practices through transparency and confidence building measures. This will help relieve gaps and deficiencies that currently exist between existing space laws and new technologies, as well as address the needs of countries with newly established space programs.

Increasing Space System Usage & Sustainability

Space systems can be used to improved capabilities in education, healthcare, food and agriculture, and to create a more sustainable environment–plus many other elements of the U.N. 17 Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. The ACES Worldwide Compact Agreements initiative is dedicated to linking new rural and remote users with available space systems to meet their needs and also meet the U.N. Goals for Sustainable Development. This is accomplished via “Compact Agreements” between new users of space systems and space system providers that is facilitated by ACES Worldwide.
